Wedding

We had a very quiet wedding,
just a couple friends over for the service.
And then a couple more over afterwards to help us celebrate.

We worked all the way around the wedding,
including earlier in the day the day of the wedding.
We are going to take off this week-end (Memorial Day)
and play, fish, & see more friends!

Mother's Day 2010

We went back up to Crawford on Mother's Day.
It was a little chilly and windy.
Ed caught one trout. Part rainbow-part albino??? No more.
We drove around the lake then we drove back towards
and past Needle Rock that you can see from the lake.
We ate a little lunch, took a little nap,
took a little hike, and found a new possible fishing stream.
Then I caught up with my daughter on the phone when we got back
into an area where we get service. She, Terry, and the kids are all fine.
The new one on the way is on schedule.
And her trip to visit us is on schedule.
What could be finer??

Bedrock

This was the end of April, still snowing. Ed had to make a trip to Naturita for work and I have been bugging him to take me to Bedrock.........well here it is.  He kept telling me that there is nothing there but a store and he's right.
Not even a Flintstone in sight.

Bedrock is between Naturita, CO and the state line. A long time ago an older couple used to come into the restaurant where I worked and asked me to come up and visit them at their store. They no longer own it, but there it is, I've been there.

He went to Jared's

Okay, no he didn't!!!
But the new beautiful ring is mine.

Grandpa and Grandma play Wii

A Wii tournament at the Eagles.  I promised that we would attend and play to support the charity. It actually was really fun!! We did not win, but at least we had reasonable scores.

March 20th

On March 20th, Ed took me to the Botanical Gardens.  I had been wanting to go there since they opened and had never made it. What a disappointment!!  Guess I just thought that it would be more. At the beginning, Ed being coy behind a big leaf. A little bit later, Ed being bored out of his mind. NO- only what I thought. He was looking at these fish.  Anyway, I am not in need of seeing the few plants again.  I think it is better on the outside than on the inside. But thanks to Ed for making it a great day.  If you have been reading this since the beginning,  March 20th was the anniversary of our first real date.
