March 20th

On March 20th, Ed took me to the Botanical Gardens.  I had been wanting to go there since they opened and had never made it. What a disappointment!!  Guess I just thought that it would be more. At the beginning, Ed being coy behind a big leaf. A little bit later, Ed being bored out of his mind. NO- only what I thought. He was looking at these fish.  Anyway, I am not in need of seeing the few plants again.  I think it is better on the outside than on the inside. But thanks to Ed for making it a great day.  If you have been reading this since the beginning,  March 20th was the anniversary of our first real date.

With the disc on.. Cass still in there.

Plowed, disc'd, flat, ready for the Morman creaser......

Who's my Valentine?

Yep, that's him!!  We stayed at home for Valentine's day. (The pictures are taken from before. One from a german restaurant in Fredricksburg, TX and the other from the Eagles.)  Ed cooked up a couple of steaks on the grill while I cooked a couple of lobsters inside. WOOHOO... it was yummy. Watched a movie on TV and all was wonderful!!

Ed's Birthday

Ed turned the big 69 on the 31st. We invited friends over on the 30th for some snacks and a few drinks.
Everyone had a good time. We just kicked back around the house on his actual b'day. Talked to the kids and grandkids,
the best part of any day.

Eagle's Anniversary

The weekend of Jan. 15,16,17th was the club's anniversary. With me being pres. I was busy for the whole thing. On Friday, basically it was just happy hour with lots of the people from out of town coming in. More made it in early than I expected. We did not stay long. On Sat. the ladies had a big 'tea party' for a meeting. Then the big banquet dinner/ meeting/ dance that evening. We did give away right at $35,000.00 to charities. Rather good in this economy.
The tea party- A Mad Hatter's Tea Party.

Giving away monies with my partner in crime, Jon.
And a dance with honey-baby to top off the night.
